The Seasonal Checklist page (Care & Upkeep, under Show more) is a faster way to load tasks into your maintenance schedule. Its Quick-Start Packs add a whole bundle of tasks with one click; the Browse by Season tabs let you look through the templates one season at a time. Only the packs create real tasks; the season tabs are for reading.

Quick-Start Packs

Five packs are available: Spring Prep, Fall Maintenance, Winterize, Storm Prep, and Fire Safety. Each shows how many tasks it holds, a rough cost estimate, and how many of the tasks are usually done by a pro.

  1. Open Seasonal Checklist.
  2. Find the pack for the season ahead and click "Add Pack".
  3. You will see "{Pack} added — {n} tasks scheduled". The tasks now live on the Maintenance page with due dates and frequencies, the same as any task you add by hand.

Packs are filtered to the systems your home has on file, so a home without gutters will not get a gutter task. If a pack seems short, check Systems & Features and add the missing system first.

Browse by Season

The Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter tabs list the templates that match each season and your home's systems, with a progress bar. Clicking a task puts a check mark on it. Those check marks are only for reading the list; they are not saved, they reset when you reload the page, and they do not create or complete tasks. To act on a task from this view, add it from the Maintenance page's "Add from Templates" dialog, or add the pack.

What to do next

Add the Fall Maintenance or Winterize pack before the first freeze and the Spring Prep pack before the rainy season; the gutter and freeze-protection guides (cleaning gutters and keeping pipes from freezing) explain the tasks inside them. Then open Maintenance and adjust the due dates to your climate; the schedule is where every task is edited.
